Fight Apathy

YVI is dedicated to providing youth-led, non-partisan voting encouragement to all voters across the country. As an organization, we aim to reach the goal of full voter participation through a diverse array of methods. Note that the entire process is strictly non-partisan and YVI do not endorse or favor any particular political party or candidate.

Project One

PHONE BANKING

Using resources provided by AAPI Vote and rockthecall.com, YVI and its volunteers have contacted over 20,000 registered voters across the country and directly convinced dozens of previously unenthusiastic voters of the importance of showing up to the polls, and our calling operations will only grow as we recruit more volunteers.

Project Two

DOOR KNOCKING

YVI plans to utilize its sizable volunteer apparatus for regular door knocking voter encouragement drives, with our first one being in East Palo Alto this July. We aim to improve local turnout by going through neighborhoods and contacting potential voters through face-to-face communication, emphasizing the importance of voting on a direct, personal level as well as offering registration assistance to those who need it.
